CUET 2024 UG ENTRANCE TEST

CUET 2024 UG entrance test. CUET UG is an entrance test that is a gateway to admission into various UG & PG courses in all the Central Universities (CU’s). The examination is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) under the Ministry of Education (MoE). CUET exam is held forĀ UG & PG level coursesĀ separately. It will be a mandatory test for admission into various UG courses at central universities such as BHU, JNU, Delhi University, etc.

The Tests (other than the ā€œLanguageā€ Test) are offered in 13 languages i.e. Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odiya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the eligibility criteria laid down by the University they are applying to.

In choosing the city for the test, candidates can select any four cities of their choice

CUET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
  • Qualification: For UG, candidates must have passed the 12th level exam, for PG, candidates must have a qualified bachelor’s degree from any recognised board or university.
  • Age Limit: There is no age restriction to apply for CUET 2023 examination

UG courses:

  • Exam mode: The examination is online in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
  • Questions Type: The question paper consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)type questions.
  • Language: There will be 13 languages for the UG-level course.
  • Time Duration: For Slot I, candidates will be given 3 hours 15 minutesĀ & 3 hours 45 minutes for Slot II.
  • of Sections: CUET UG will include 4 sections Section IA, Section IB, Section II and Section III.
  • Total No. of Questions:100 questions will be asked in the question paper.
  • Marking Scheme marks for each correct answer while 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

How to Register

Step 1:

Registration Form: Go to the official website and Register for the Online Application Form and must note down the system-generated Application Number. The candidate should enter the required details while filling out the Online Application Form and is also required to create a PASSWORD choose Security Question and enter his/her Answer.

Step 2: Application Form:

The Candidates can log in with the system-generated Application Number and pre-created Password for completing the Application Form including filling up personal details, providing the details of educational qualification, university/ programme selection, test paper details, choosing the Examination Cities, and uploading the images and documents (if any)

Upload Scanned Images of the Candidate’s Photograph, Signature, and Category Certificate (if applicable), and PwBD Certificate (wherever applicable):

The recent photograph should be either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background. ii. The scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible). iii. The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly legible). iv. The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb (clearly legible). v. The size of the scanned copy of the Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.) should be between 50kb to 300kb in pdf (clearly legible). vi. *The size of the scanned copy of the PwBD certificate should be between 50 kb to 300 kb in pdf (clearly legible)

Step 3: Fee Payment:

The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the Candidate

After completing Step 1 and Step 2, the candidates have to pay the requisite examination fee. The fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Paytm Services. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator.

In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of the fee, then the candidate may have to approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway (in the helpline number and e-mail given in the Information Bulletin) to ensure the successful payment or to obtain the refund of duplicate/multiple payments].

All 3 Steps can be done together or at separate times. The submission of the Application of a candidate could be considered successful and his/her candidature would be confirmed only on the successful transaction/receipt of the prescribed application fee from him/her
