How to Trek Everest 3 passes
Three Passes Everest Trekking begins in Lukla and travels through the Dudh Koshi valley before climbing to Namche, the capital of the Sherpas. Namche serves as a junction for trekkers, local Sherpas, and expeditions seeking to reach the formidable Mt. Everest. Friendly Sherpa people, picturesque towns, a wide range of cultures and traditions, colorful festivals, and monasteries can be found all along this portion of the trek. We climb all the way up to Lungden for Renjo-La pass (5360m).
A lasting memory of panoramic views of the Everest and other Himalayan ranges is provided by Renjo la Pass. The Renjo-La Pass path is not the typical tourist route. A trip to the fourth and fifth lakes, from which the views are outstanding, would be an added attraction in Gokyo Valley. The largest glacier in the Nepal Himalayas is the Ngozumpa Glacier. In the entire Everest region, the Gokyo Ri (5330m) is regarded as having the best vantage point.
We explore this imaging location before heading over the Chola-La pass (5420m) to Everest Base Camp. We also have the chance to climb up to Kalapatthar (5550m), which is about three hours from Gorakshep and offers a close-up view of Mount Everest and Everest Base Camp (5364m), as well as the chance to see the Khumbu Icefall. The highest pass among these three passes is Kongma-La Pass (5535m).
Excellent views may be had from Kongma La’s summit. After taking in the breathtaking view from the Kongma-La, the trail descends to Dingboche, from which point we can choose to go up to Chhukung, or Island Peak, or descend to Tengboche and continue our descent to Lukla.
